WHO WE ARE
New York City Pride and Power is an inter-generational group of LGBTQ Blacks and Latinos representing a cross-section of interests and constituencies aligned to advocate for and promote political activism within our community.
MISSION
The mission of New York City Pride and Power is to encourage participation in the electoral process, and to endorse, support, and advocate for political candidates and positions that will benefit New York City’s Black and Latino, LGBTQ community.
VISION
The vision of New York City Pride and Power is to promote solidarity among Black and Latino LGBTQ people towards the advancement of our community’s political interests in New York.
GOALS
Advance political literacy among Black and Latino LGBTQ people
Promote political activism among our constituents
Increase voter registration among New York City’s Black and Latino LGBTQ community
Increase participation in New York City’s electoral processes
Endorse, support and advocate for the election and advancement of political candidates and positions that will benefit New York City’s Black and Latino, LGBTQ community.
